WhatsMyContract ("Company", "we") operates WhatsMyContract. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

• Account Data: Email address and securely hashed password when you sign up.
• Usage Data: Contract documents you upload, analysis results, and timestamps.
• Payment Data: Processed by Stripe. We store only your Stripe customer ID — never your card number.
• Technical Data: IP address, browser type, and device information for security and analytics.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the contract analysis service.
• To analyse the contracts you upload. The analysis is done by an AI model running on hardware we own and operate, not by a third-party AI service. Your contract text reaches that hardware through Cloudflare (see Data Sharing).
• To process payments and manage subscriptions.
• To communicate important account updates.
• To detect abuse and ensure security.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Stripe: Payment processing.
• Cloudflare: Hosting, CDN and network transport. The text of a contract you upload passes through Cloudflare's network on its way to our analysis server.
• Google: Google Analytics and Google AdSense run on this site and receive technical data such as your IP address and browser type (see Cookies).
• Law enforcement: When required by law.

4. Data Retention

Account data and analysis history are kept while your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@whatsmycontract.com.

5. Security

Passwords are stored as SHA-256 hashes, never in plain text. All traffic is encrypted via HTTPS. Payment data is handled by PCI-compliant Stripe infrastructure.

6. Cookies

We use essential storage (a sign-in token in your browser's localStorage) to keep you signed in. Google Analytics and Google AdSense also set cookies on this site to measure visits and show ads; see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to: access your personal data, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, and data portability. Contact support@whatsmycontract.com for any requests.

8. Children's Privacy

WhatsMyContract is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The "Last Updated" date will reflect any changes.
